About hormone peptides

Kisspeptin-10 and gonadorelin sit at the top of the reproductive axis. Kisspeptin triggers GnRH release, and gonadorelin is synthetic GnRH, which tells the pituitary to release LH and FSH. Triptorelin is a long-acting GnRH agonist that, with steady exposure, shuts the axis down instead.

PT-141 (bremelanotide) acts on melanocortin receptors in the brain and is approved in the US as Vyleesi. Oxytocin is the nine-amino-acid hormone behind social bonding and labor, and TRH is the three-amino-acid signal for thyroid-stimulating hormone.
