BPC-157 from Biotech Peptides is a 15-amino-acid peptide, sold in the 5mg and 10mg sizes of freeze-dried powder. You pay $52 for 5mg and $94 for 10mg and shipping costs nothing, whether the order goes across the US or overseas. Our label says it plainly: synthesized and lyophilized in the USA. The gallery above includes the certificate of analysis for the current lot.
What is BPC-157?
It is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.
It isn’t an approved drug in the US or Europe, and it’s on the WADA prohibited list.
BPC-157 in published research
Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.
Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that the peptide raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.

How BPC-157 works
Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for the peptide. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.
In cell culture it helped fibroblasts move and spread, which is part of how tissue closes a wound. Those effects are why it shows up so often in tendon, ligament and gut repair models.

BPC-157 reconstitution and storage
For the 5mg size, here’s the concentration you get with common volumes of bacteriostatic water:
- 1mL of water: 5mg per mL
- 2mL of water: 2.5mg per mL
- 3mL of water: 1.67mg per mL
Let the vial warm to room temperature first. Run the water slowly down the side of the glass, then swirl or roll it until the powder is gone. Don’t shake it; foam is a sign of damaged peptide.
Dry vials last longest frozen at -20°C. Reconstituted solution goes in the fridge and is best used within four weeks or so.
Ordering enough for a study
Map out the doses per group, multiply by the number of days, and add a margin. It’s cheaper to order one extra vial at the start than to restart a study.
Choosing a BPC-157 size
Pick the size from the menu above the cart button. The larger vial costs less per milligram:
- 5mg vial: $52, about $10.40 per mg
- 10mg vial: $94, about $9.40 per mg
Start small if you’re testing a protocol. Go large when the plan is fixed and you want the lower price per milligram.
Where BPC-157 fits
It is the 15-amino-acid repair peptide with the largest body of rodent research. The compounds it’s usually weighed against:
- TB-500 is the 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein, studied for cell movement and wound repair
- KPV is a three-amino-acid alpha-MSH fragment studied for calming inflammation
- ARA-290 is an 11-amino-acid peptide from erythropoietin that protects tissue without raising red cells
- B7-33 is a relaxin-2 fragment studied for fibrosis
- GHK-Cu is the copper-binding tripeptide studied for collagen and skin repair
Each covers a different step of repair, from new blood vessels and cell movement to inflammation, fibrosis and matrix rebuilding. All of them are on our BPC-157 and recovery peptides page.

Buying from Biotech Peptides
Biotech Peptides is a peptide-only store. You see the price up front, there’s no account required to check out, and if a product page lists a COA, the document is right there in the images. You don’t have to ask for it.
Problems with an order go through the contact page. Include the order number and a photo of anything damaged.
Free shipping on this order
Shipping is free on every order, to the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and the other countries we serve. Freeze-dried peptide handles normal transit temperatures, so it travels in standard packaging and goes into the freezer when it arrives.
