TB-500 10mg from Biotech Peptides is a thymosin beta-4 peptide, sold in a 10mg vial of freeze-dried powder. You pay $124 and shipping costs nothing, whether the order goes across the US or overseas. Our label says it plainly: synthesized and lyophilized in the USA. The gallery above includes the certificate of analysis for the current lot.
What is TB-500?
TB-500 here means thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell in the body, with high levels in platelets and white blood cells. Inside the cell it binds actin, the protein cells use to change shape and move.
The TB-500 we sell is the full-length 43-residue sequence, acetylated at the N-terminus like the natural protein. It isn’t an approved medicine, and it’s on the WADA prohibited list.
What studies report about TB-500
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.
Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

The biology behind TB-500
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the single building blocks of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.
Cell movement is the first step in repair, which is the link to the wound healing and blood vessel studies. The actin-binding work is done by a short stretch of the chain, LKKTETQ, at positions 17 to 23.

TB-500 10mg reconstitution and storage
The concentration is the 10mg in the vial divided by the water you add:
- 1mL of water: 10mg per mL
- 2mL of water: 5mg per mL
- 3mL of water: 3.33mg per mL
Bring the vial to room temperature, add sterile bacteriostatic water against the glass and swirl gently. It should go clear within a minute or two. Shaking only makes foam.
Dry vials last longest frozen at -20°C. Reconstituted solution goes in the fridge and is best used within four weeks or so.
How many vials of TB-500 10mg to order
Count the total milligrams across every group and time point, and round up. Running out halfway and switching lots adds a variable you didn’t plan for.

Same compound, different amounts. The bigger listing works out cheaper per milligram.
Where TB-500 fits
TB-500 is the 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein, studied for cell movement and wound repair. The compounds it’s usually weighed against:
- BPC-157 is the 15-amino-acid repair peptide with the largest body of rodent research
- KPV is a three-amino-acid alpha-MSH fragment studied for calming inflammation
- ARA-290 is an 11-amino-acid peptide from erythropoietin that protects tissue without raising red cells
- B7-33 is a relaxin-2 fragment studied for fibrosis
- GHK-Cu is the copper-binding tripeptide studied for collagen and skin repair
Each covers a different step of repair, from new blood vessels and cell movement to inflammation, fibrosis and matrix rebuilding. All of them are on our BPC-157 and recovery peptides page.
